1. Navigate to the Color page. The Color page icon is located in the series of icons at the bottom of the DaVinci Resolve interface. [[File:color grade_01.png|600px||center||alt=1|]] Try the auto-color tool. For a quick starting point, click the circular auto-color button with an "A" on the color wheels panel. Resolve will automatically attempt to correct the shot's color and contrast. 2. Adjust project settings. Click the gear icon in the bottom-right corner to open Project Settings. Under the Color Management tab, you can set the timeline and output color spaces. While beginners can often stick with the default settings, experienced users or those with log footage should configure these to match their camera and final output. 3. Use nodes. On the Color page, a Node Editor is used to stack corrections and effects. You can add a new node by right-clicking in the node graph area and selecting Add Node > Add Serial Node. This non-destructive workflow lets you organize and fine-tune your adjustments.
